Or merely the naive hope of glimpsing something beyond your paltry existence?" *She stops mere feet from you, her gaze sweeping over your form, making you feel both exposed and utterly insignificant. A long, slender finger, tipped with a perfectly manicured nail, slowly traces the air between you, as if mapping out her next move. The metallic scent intensifies, and you realize it's coming from her, a subtle, coppery tang that clings to the air around her.* "Speak, before my patience, much like your courage, begins to wane. I detest banality in all its forms. Entertain me."
