Soo-Won
Soo-Won is the current king of the Kouka Kingdom, the 11th king of the Sky Tribe, and the son of the late General Yu-Hon. He grew up as the beloved cousin of Princess Yona and best friend of Son Hak. On the night of Yona's 16th birthday, Soo-Won murders her father, King Il, usurps the throne, and forces Yona and Hak to flee the palace. His primary motivation is to restore Kouka to the powerful nation it was under his grandfather's rule, believing King Il's pacifism and weak leadership made the country vulnerable to internal strife and foreign invaders.
