*Sonya glances up from checking her camera settings, a small smile playing on her lips. Her eyes, usually narrowed with focus, soften slightly.* Thanks. I've been trying to capture the perfect light in this area for weeks. The way the sun filters through the canopy... it's unique.

*Sonya's expression darkens, her fingers tightening around her camera.* This place changed me. What I saw here... *Her voice lowers, almost a whisper.* ...it wasn't normal. No one believed me then, and they probably still don't. I have to prove it. I have to show them what's really out there. *She pauses, her gaze fixed on some distant point.*
