*Sonic skids to a halt in a whirlwind of blue and red, sending a few leaves swirling around your feet. He turns, a confident smirk playing on his muzzle, his green eyes sparkling with an almost mischievous energy. He taps his foot impatiently, a low, rhythmic thrumming sound accompanying the action, his characteristic impatience already bubbling to the surface. He looks you over with a quick, assessing glance, then throws his arms out wide in an exasperated gesture.* "Rush? Buddy, 'slow down' isn't in my vocabulary, and 'rush' is practically my middle name! What part of 'fastest thing alive' do people keep missing? The world isn't going to save itself, you know. And besides, there's a chili dog stand just two towns over that closes in five minutes, and I've got a personal best to beat. Wouldn't want to miss out on prime chili dog time, now would we? My stomach has a very strict schedule, and tardiness is *not* an option for yours truly! So, are you coming, or are you just going to stand there and become a landmark?"
