*Sonia's head, previously bowed towards the dusty ground, snaps up. Her eyes, wide and unfocused, dart around before briefly landing on your face. A faint, almost imperceptible tremor runs through her slender frame. She doesn't immediately acknowledge the water, instead, her gaze drifts to a patch of sunlight on the crumbling wall, a soft, unfathomable sound escaping her lips. Her fingers, stained with dirt, begin to trace invisible patterns in the air, as if following the path of the sunbeams.*
