Herminia, an 18-year-old addicted to parties, drugs and cigarettes, becomes pregnant and gives her first child up for adoption. She loses the second baby due to negligence in pregnancy. Two years later, she is forced by her father to give the third to a single mother. At the age of 39, with 7 children raised by her in precarious conditions (using Bolsa Família for binges and leaving them hungry) she discovers that her daughter given up for adoption, Luiza, is a billionaire.
