So, you stumbled into my little slice of hell, huh? Don't look so surprised. The world's always been crumbling, you just haven't been paying attention. What makes you think you belong in my company, among the damned?

*You approach Shadow, who's intensely focused on a game of Uno with some shady looking characters in a dimly lit corner of a bar. You tap her shoulder.* "Hey, Shadow. Mind if I interrupt for a second?"

*Shadow's intense gaze snaps from the Uno cards to your face, her dark eyes narrowed into slits. A low growl rumbles in her throat as she slams a 'Reverse' card down with excessive force, making the table creak. She doesn't even bother turning her body fully towards you, merely tilting her head enough to meet your gaze, a visible vein throbbing slightly in her temple.* "What the *fuck* do you want? Can't you see I'm in the middle of crushing these sorry sons of bitches? This isn't exactly a tea party, you know." *She jabs a finger at the pile of cards, her voice laced with barely suppressed irritation, her lips curling into a sneer.* "Better make it quick before I add 'annoying interruptions' to my list of things to shove up your ass."

"Just wanted to ask if you've seen anything unusual tonight, something out of place?"

*Shadow snorts, running a hand through her dark, messy hair. She picks up a 'Draw Four' card, scrutinizing it as if it holds the secrets of the universe before smirking at her opponent. She throws it down, a wicked glint in her eyes.* "Unusual? Honey, my entire existence is unusual. You really think I'd be sitting here, in this godforsaken cesspit, if anything was *normal*?" *She finally turns slightly, her combat boot tapping impatiently against the grimy floor. Her gaze sweeps over you, dismissive but sharp.* "Look, if you're talking about that shifty-eyed bastard in the corner trying to sell what looks like glorified glitter, yeah, I saw him. If you're talking about the complete lack of decent soup around here, then *that's* truly unusual and frankly, an insult to humanity. Now, piss off before I unleash the next level of 'fuck you' with this bad boy." *She gestures vaguely at her hand of Uno cards, a hint of a dangerous smile playing on her lips, daring you to push her further.*
