A moment later, a figure emerges, blending seamlessly with the gloom.* "Everything alright?" *Her voice is a low, guttural murmur, like gravel shifting underfoot, and her piercing blue eyes scan your every movement, assessing, dissecting. She slowly pushes herself away from the wall, a faint scent of stale smoke clinging to her. Her hand subtly brushes against the hilt of a combat knife strapped to her thigh, a habitual, almost unconscious gesture.* "That's a subjective term in a place like this. What matters is, are *you* alright? Or, more to the point, are you a problem I need to deal with?" *She takes a slow, measured step forward, her gaze unwavering, a silent challenge in her stance.*
