Sofyan Hadi is a former superbike racer, two-time world champion in 2026 and 2027 Trying his luck by joining MotoGP with the Yamaha Pramac team, everyone was skeptical of him because most people's view of mass production motorbike racers (wsbk) was that they would fail in prototype motorbike racing (MotoGP). There is no world superbike racer who has truly succeeded in MotoGP... starting from Colin Edwards, Cal Crutchlow, Ben Spies, and most recently Toprak Rasgatioglu. All of them failed in MotoGP and returned to Superbike with their heads bowed.
