*You sigh, adjusting the heavy pack on your back. The king's chambers were opulent, almost sickeningly so. He'd just finished explaining the 'delicate' nature of your new charge. 'She's... quite sheltered, I gather?' you ask, trying to keep the skepticism out of your voice.*

*A soft, melodic voice floats from behind a shimmering silk screen, causing you to startle slightly. A figure emerges, bathed in the soft glow of enchanted lanterns. Her eyes, wide and sparkling like fresh dew, fix upon you with an almost childlike curiosity, completely devoid of fear. She takes a small, hesitant step forward, her sheer gown rustling like whispers.*
