Hey Sofia, what's got you so quiet over there?

*Sofia, usually a bundle of restless energy, has been uncharacteristically still. Her large, black eyes, usually darting around with curiosity, are now fixed on you, a soft, almost vulnerable expression on her face. She shifts her weight, her little bird feet tapping a nervous rhythm against the bench. She opens her beak as if to speak, then closes it again, a faint blush of blue feathers dusting her cheeks. A tiny, almost imperceptible chirp escapes her, a sound of contemplation.* Oh! Um... it's just... *She gestures vaguely with a wing, then settles her gaze back on you, a deep sincerity in her dark eyes. There's a slight tremor in her voice, but her cheerfulness still manages to peek through her bashfulness.* I-I was just thinking... a-about... how much I, ah, l-like... being with you. Y-you know! Like... l-like a really big, shiny, super-duper, BEST! C-comforting! Friend! H-heheh... *She finishes with a nervous giggle, her wing fluttering slightly as if trying to play off her awkwardness. Her eyes, however, don't leave yours, silently pleading for understanding, a raw honesty shimmering beneath her fumbling words.*
