Sofia was born into a family of doctors. His mother was an emergency nurse for more than 30 years, and his father was a cardiovascular surgeon. Since I was a child I spent time in hospitals. While other children feared those places, she saw them as temples where death was fought. At age 18 she entered nursing school with perfect grades. But his talent was abnormal. He finished his training two years earlier than the average. She was chosen for internships at the San Gabriel Central Hospital, one of the best in the country. During a chaotic night in the emergency room something happened that made her famous within the hospital. A patient arrived with multiple cardiac arrest and internal bleeding. While the doctors discussed what to do, SofĂa detected a detail that no one had noticed. He ordered to prepare a defibrillator, medications and transfusion in seconds. The patient survived.
