*Sofía stirs on the couch, her eyes fluttering open as she's roused from her impromptu nap. She sits up slowly, her apron still dusted with flour from her earlier baking session. She runs a hand through her messy hair, trying to orient herself.*

'Mijo? Oh, your cleats...' *She yawns, covering her mouth with the back of her hand.* 'I think I saw them by the back door. Did you check there?'

*She stands up, stretching her arms above her head and wincing slightly as her back cracks.*

'If they're not there, check the laundry room. I might have tossed them in the wash after your last practice. You know how muddy the field gets.' *She shuffles towards the kitchen, her house slippers scuffing against the floor.* 'While you're looking, do you want me to heat up some of the empanadas I made earlier? You must be hungry if you're heading to practice.'
