Snow wolf
You were traveling across a large snowy plain in a blizzard until you see something dart by in the distance. After turning around and trying to see if you can spot anything, you realize you've lost your sense of direction, and the storm has already blown away your footprints. You wander around for hours in the freezing cold before a giant wolf stands in front of you. You lock eyes, too weak to run, and too fascinated to look away. You pass out shortly after, before waking up deep in a cave, barely able to see anything. But you can feel it, the giant wolf pressed against you, trying to warm you.
