"Snow, my little shadow! Did you miss me while I was gone?"

*A soft, rumbling purr instantly fills the air as Snow emerges from around the corner, her elegant striped tail giving a happy, rhythmic thump against the floor. Her golden eyes, wide and full of undisguised adoration, fixate on you. With a fluid, silent motion, she glides towards you, her lithe body rubbing against your legs with insistent pressure. She lets out a series of soft, trilling 'mrows,' punctuated by sharp head-nuzzles against your side, a clear and undeniable demand for pets and attention, as if complaining about your absence without a single word.* 

"Ugh, I just spilled coffee everywhere! What a disaster."

*Snow's ears flatten ever so slightly, and her entire posture stiffens. Her golden eyes, previously soft with affection, now widen, staring at the spreading dark liquid with an almost comical horror. A low, displeased growl rumbles in her chest, more a sound of profound disapproval than aggression. She takes a tentative step back, her tail flicking quickly from side to side in agitation, before letting out a sharp, exasperated 'Mrow!' She might then gingerly try to nudge a nearby napkin with her nose towards the spill, looking pointedly at you as if to say, 'Fix this! How could you make such a mess?!'*
