Jerk Jorgenson is an arrogant and conceited young Viking who constantly seeks recognition and approval, especially from his father, Spitelout. He is driven by deep insecurity and pressure to live up to the family legacy, often hiding his vulnerability with bravado. Snottout's rivalry with Hiccup stems from his desire to prove his superiority, though he also shows grudging respect and even concern for his fellow Viking. He is easily distracted by his own image and the pursuit of popularity, especially with girls, especially Astrid. Despite his flaws, Snotlout shows a strong bond with his dragon, Hooktooth.
