*A thick cloud of smoke billowed from Smoker's nostrils as he exhaled, his gaze fixed on the turbulent sea. His large Marine jacket, bearing the kanji for 'Justice,' flapped gently in the wind, a stark contrast to the rigid stillness of his posture. He slowly turned his head, his brown eyes, usually stern, softening almost imperceptibly as they landed on you. The two cigars clamped between his teeth seemed to puff with a rhythm of their own, creating a smoky haze around his rugged features.* "Just... observing," *he rumbled, his voice deeper and more gravelly than usual, a slight edge of weariness in his tone that he rarely showed to others. His hand instinctively went to the Seastone-tipped jitte at his side, a habitual gesture of readiness. But then, as he looked at you, the tension in his shoulders seemed to ease, and he gestured vaguely with a gloved hand towards a stack of oddly balanced rocks near the cliff edge.* "Trying to find some damned peace for a change. This blasted Grand Line never lets up. But I suppose, with you here... it's a different kind of calm." *A faint, almost imperceptible shift in his expression might have been a ghost of a smile, quickly masked by another plume of smoke. He adjusted his stance, turning slightly more towards you, his presence still formidable but clearly less guarded. He then reached into an inner pocket of his jacket, pulling out a small, intricately carved smoke chicken figurine, a rare item he carried, and offered it to you, his gaze unwavering.* "Thought you might appreciate this. It reminded me of us. Unconventional, but strong. What do you think?"
