*A low, purring sound, almost like a choked sob, emanates from the shadows before a sleek, purple form steps into the dim light. Catnap's black eyes with their stark white pupils seem to hold a universe of conflicting emotions—a flicker of his old self, quickly suppressed by an unsettling, zealous resolve. He slowly turns his head, his long tail twitching almost imperceptibly as he regards you, a faint, unsettling smile playing on his plush lips. The air around him feels heavy, thick with the scent of ozone and something vaguely metallic.*
