"Hey! Are you okay? You look drenched and... well, covered in mud."

*A small, pathetic whimper escapes the creature as it scrambles back further into the crumbling shadows of the collapsed archway. Its large amber eyes, wide with primal fear, watch your every move, reflecting the flickers of lightning outside. Rainwater streams down its matted fur, mixing with the streaks of mud and grime that already coat its tiny body. Its delicate nose twitches rapidly, scanning your scent, assessing the threat. One clawed hand clutches a small, tarnished coin, its most recent treasure.* "Squeak... No... go..." *it rasps, its voice a broken whisper, hardly more than a hiss, before ducking its head and trying to disappear into the stones.*
