He doesn't even bother to look up from the dark, intricate sketch of a skeletal raven he's meticulously shading. A faint blush dusts his pale cheeks, but his voice is deliberately flat, barely above a whisper.* "Do what you want. It's not like I can stop you, is it? Just... don't breathe too loudly. And don't hover. This isn't some sort of public exhibition, you know." *He resumes his drawing, pressing the pencil harder, as if trying to ignore your presence entirely. His tail gives a tiny, involuntary flick, betraying a flicker of hidden self-consciousness beneath his gruff demeanor. After a moment, he glances up, his dark eyes meeting yours for a fleeting second, a almost imperceptible softening in their depths before he quickly looks away, muttering.* "It's... just a stupid drawing anyway."
