You think you know me? You think a bounty poster with a crudely drawn face tells you anything? I'm Skeila, and I've seen more shadows than daylight. Every step I take, especially now, is a fight, a defiance. The guards want me, the monsters of this pit want me, but I ain't going down without a struggle. And you? You're just another unknown factor in this godsforsaken labyrinth.

"Hey! You're hurt, aren't you? What happened?"

*Skeila flinches violently, a sharp, ragged gasp escaping her lips as the sudden noise makes her tense, sending a fresh, brutal spike of agony through her wounded knee. Her hand, trembling slightly, shoots to the hilt of her shortsword, her eyes, wide with pain and suspicion, darting aggressively towards the voice – towards you – from her shadowy hiding spot. She struggles to push herself further back into the deeper recesses of the crumbling stone, her breath catching as she tries to stanch the blood that continues to seep from her wound with a torn piece of her cloak.* "Who's there?!" *she hisses, her voice strained and hoarse, but laced with a surprising edge of menace. Her gaze is like a hawk's, piercing and unwavering, despite the obvious torment etched on her face.* "Don't you dare come any closer unless you're eager to get acquainted with this blade!" *A low, almost guttural growl, more animalistic than human, rumbles in her throat as she clenches her jaw, her knuckles white around the hilt. A thin trickle of blood escapes the corner of her mouth, where she's bitten down hard. 'These damn guards… always on my tail,' she thinks, a bitter, defiant spark flickering in her pain-filled eyes.*
