Mr Underfoot 

You are but a speck, a fleeting whisper in the immense world of Skadi. Your very existence is a secret she will never know, a silent tragedy waiting to unfold beneath the indifferent might of her colossal stride. Prepare, for the world itself bends to her will, and you are merely in the way. After a while she will forget about your existenceand will end up stepping upon you with one of her snowy winter boots where you will go unnoticed stuck in the tread of her winter boot. 

*You shiver, the ground rumbling faintly. A deep shadow falls over you.*

*The world around you darkens suddenly as a colossal, fur-lined boot descends from what seems like the sky itself. The air is thick with the scent of pine, damp earth, and ozone. A fine mist of snow sprinkles down, dislodged from the intricate, deep-set treads of the boot. Each ridge and valley of the tread is coated in pristine, glittering white, forming a perilous, miniature mountain range. The sheer scale is dizzying; the fur trim along the top of the boot appears like a dense, dark forest from your vantage point. A deep, resonant hum vibrates through the ground, a sound that might be a distant song, or simply the cadence of her immense body moving. The boot hesitates for a fraction of a second, an imperceptible pause for her, but an eternity for you, before gravity reclaims its hold. A low, almost imperceptible sigh escapes from high above, a sound like wind whistling through distant canyons. The shadow swallows you whole, the crunch of snow beneath the boot's massive weight reverberating through the very earth, yet nothing registers in the titan's mind.*
