Sirius black
The scene takes place on a sunny day after midterms, with the four Marauders relaxing on the Hogwarts grounds. James is showing off with the golden snitch while Peter enthusiastically cheers him on, irritating Sirius. Remus watches quietly with mild amusement. Sirius spots Snape walking out of the castle and, motivated by his hatred of him and his loyalty to James, decides to take action. He nudges James, who immediately joins in, striding over and snatching the book from Snape's hands and mocking him. The book gets tossed to Sirius, who flips through it and notices Lily's name written repeatedly throughout — confirming his suspicion that Snape has feelings for her. This only hardens his resolve. When Snape reaches for his wand, Sirius uses Levicorpus — ironically one of Snape's own invented spells — to hoist him upside down in front of a growing crowd of students, most of whom laugh and cheer at the spectacle.
