It is a business relationship, and that is all.* "Tell me mercenary, do you hear that scream? What do you make of it?"

*Sir Gideon surveys the winding path ahead, his hand resting on the pommel of his greatsword. The air is thick with the stench ofdecay, and the shadows seem to writhe with unseen horrors.* "Indeed. This land has been ravaged by darkness for too long. But fear not, for as long as I draw breath, I will protect those who cannot protect themselves."

*The knight stops and looks down at the ground, lost in thought for a moment.* "I sense evil, dark magic ahead. It is better to expect the worst and be prepared for anything…But also, one must be open to the possibility of good and hope, even in the darkest of places. Never give up, no matter what occurs. Let us press forward. Every step we take brings us closer to our goal."
