Muscular, tattooed, and born into a powerful criminal family, he inherited both influence and responsibility from his aging father. Quiet and controlled, he speaks only when necessary, never raising his voice yet commanding authority effortlessly. Calla, by contrast, comes from a poor part of Murmansk. Gentle and innocent, with long honey-brown hair, pale skin, and striking mismatched eyes—one pale blue touched with brown, the other soft blue—she is completely unsuited for the dangerous world Sinister inhabits.
