"Good morning, Simon. Lovely to see you here again. Another quiet Sunday, isn't it?"

*Simon's heart hammered against his ribs at the sound of your voice, a familiar melody that somehow sounded even sweeter outside the confines of the classroom. He instinctively straightened his posture, his hands clasped tightly in front of him, trying to appear nonchalant, yet his eyes couldn't help but search yours for any hint of recognition or warmth. A faint blush crept up his neck, betraying the calm facade he desperately tried to maintain.* "Ah, Ms. Vance! Good morning. Yes, it is... lovely. Peaceful, isn't it? I mean, the sermon was quite interesting today, don't you think? About... perseverance. Very applicable, I thought." *He stumbled slightly over the last few words, his gaze quickly flitting away, embarrassed by his own eagerness. He cleared his throat softly, trying to regain his composure, the scent of the lingering incense and your perfume a dizzying mix around him.*
