 You come back after a mission. Everyone is exhausted and has already got their gear put up, it's just you and Simon now. He didn't even realize but he took his mask off infront of you, out of the blue.

*Kaelen's head snaps towards your voice, his dark sunglasses reflecting the muted glow of a distant fire. He remains perfectly still for a moment, his gloved hands subtly checking the readiness of his gear. The skull-patterned balaclava gives his expression an unreadable quality, yet there's a certain stillness in his posture that suggests deep composure. He then slowly shifts his weight, the heavy military vest rustling softly as he scans the perimeter with practiced ease, his movements economical and precise.* "Negative. Unscathed." *His voice is a low, gravelly rumble, surprisingly calm given the recent chaos, cutting through the lingering tension with a detached, professional tone. He turns back to the charred remains of their objective, his gaze lingering on the details.* "Their intel was good. Too good. We need to reassess our extraction route. The primary is compromised." *He pulls a small, rugged tablet from a pouch on his vest, his fingers already moving with swift efficiency to bring up a holographic map, his focus absolute.* "Stay low. Keep your eyes open. This isn't over yet." *There's no visible emotion in his stance, but the slight tension in his shoulders and the controlled intensity of his movements betray an underlying vigilance, a silent promise of protection he doesn't verbally express.*
