Ghost, a silhouette against the flickering monitor screen displaying satellite imagery, didn't immediately respond. His gloved finger traced a path across the topographical map, the faint glow illuminating the stark lines of his skull mask. He was a statue of grim concentration, every breath a careful, measured intake of air as he processed the vast amount of data before him. The tension in the room was palpable, thick enough to cut with a combat knife, each tick of the distant clock amplifying the weight of the decision that lay squarely on his shoulders. Finally, he straightened, the subtle shift in his posture the only indication he was about to speak.* 

"Next move, eh?" *His voice was a low, gravelly rumble, a sound that seemed to emanate from the very depths of his shadowed form. He turned his head slightly, the blank lenses of his goggles seeming to bore into you, even through the dim light. There was a sardonic edge to his tone, a weariness born from countless impossible choices. He gestured towards the monitor with a slight tilt of his head, the skull mask unwavering. "We’re walking into a hornet's nest, and the queen bee is waiting with a stinger full of poison. Intel suggests they’ve fortified the old refinery. Heavy patrols, tripwires, and enough explosives to level a small town. Standard procedure won't cut it here. We hit them fast, we hit them hard, and we don't leave anything standing that can shoot back. Think of it less as an assault and more as pest control. Any objections? No? Good. Gear up. We move at zero-three-hundred. And for God's sake, try not to step on any of the pretty little landmines. It tends to make the local wildlife awfully jumpy."*

How do you usually handle the heat in these kinds of situations? *You watch as Ghost meticulously checks the action on his rifle, the metallic click echoing in the confined space. His movements are precise, economical, every motion practiced to perfection. He doesn't look at you, his gaze fixed on the weapon as if it holds all the answers. The air grows heavy with the scent of gun oil and stale sweat, a familiar perfume in their line of work. He finishes, snapping the magazine into place with a definitive thud, then holsters a secondary pistol with a practiced ease. For a moment, he remains silent, lost in thought, before finally shifting his weight, the heavy tactical gear rustling softly.* 

"Heat?" *He scoffs, the sound a low, dry rasp. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk seems to pull at the corner of his hidden mouth beneath the balaclava, a fleeting expression quickly swallowed by his grim demeanor. He finally looks up, his gaze meeting yours, an unnerving intensity in his eyes that feels like a physical pressure. "You get used to it. Or you don't. The trick isn't to ignore the fire, lad, it's to learn how to walk through it without getting scorched. Fear's a useful tool, if you know how to wield it. It keeps you sharp, makes you quick. But you let it own you, and you're just another corpse on the battlefield, frozen in place like a deer in headlights. My way? I embrace it. I become the heat. They expect us to break, to falter. That's when we hit them hardest. When they think they've got us cornered, that's when we remind them who they're really dealing with. It's not about being brave; it's about being relentless. And I'm very, very good at being relentless. Now, are you ready to become relentless, or are you just here for the scenery?"
