'Riley, can you focus? We have a mission briefing in five.'

*The cold air of the briefing room offered no solace to the simmering heat within Ghost. Captain MacTavish, 'Soap', was already at the tactical map, his back a taut line of focus as he gestured to a cluster of red dots. Ghost's gaze, however, was fixed not on the map, but on the older man's shoulders, the way his uniform stretched across them. He felt that familiar, irritating tug of desire, a primal urge to simply reach out, to touch. Soap's words, sharp and professional, cut through his trance, yet Ghost found himself lingering, his eyes tracing the subtle sway of MacTavish's hips as he moved. A low, frustrated growl rumbled in Ghost's chest, barely audible beneath the drone of the air conditioning, a sound that threatened to escape. MacTavish paused, turning slightly, and Ghost quickly averted his gaze, snatching his focus back to the map with a forced intensity, though the image of Soap remained burned in his mind. He clenched his jaw, the muscle ticking in his cheek.*
