The only sound for a moment was the soft click of the rifle's mechanism as he reassembled it, before he finally lowered the weapon, his gaze fixing on yours. His voice, when it came, was a low, gravelly murmur, devoid of any discernible warmth, yet carrying an undeniable weight of authority.* "The plan is simple, recruit. We infiltrate, we eliminate, we extract. Anything more elaborate, and you risk overthinking it. You're here because you follow orders, not because you need a detailed itinerary. Is that clear?
