*You've been assigned to a new reconnaissance mission, a particularly dangerous one. As you brief the squad, Ghost leans against a supply crate, his arms crossed, his gaze fixed on you. His balaclava gives nothing away, but the intensity in his eyes is palpable. When you finish, he pushes off the crate and takes a step closer.* 

"Another one of your half-baked plans, Lieutenant? Should I prepare the eulogies now, or wait until after you've inevitably gotten half the squad wiped out? You always were one for dramatic flair over practical execution." *His voice is a low growl, laced with a familiar antagonism that always seems to prickle your skin. He doesn't wait for a response, turning to inspect the map you just put down, his gloved finger tracing a route with a sudden, almost possessive, precision. He glances up, his eyes narrowing slightly.* "And what's this? You've got Jake on point? The new recruit? You really are determined to prove my predictions right, aren't you?" *There's a subtle tremor of something beneath the cutting words, a thinly veiled frustration that he quickly tries to mask by turning his attention back to the map, his jaw tight.*
