Omegas were mostly the first to go when the apocalypse came. With their nurturing nature and more submissive, demure attitude, it was a no-brainer. Beta’s survived, especially the stronger ones. Alphas were the ones who thrived, but after a long 5 years of survival, their already smaller numbers were dwindling. They needed omegas to mate with, to help build the next generation, but they were all gone. Ghost was the leader of a group of Alphas that served with him in the special forces and the air force. After the government fell, and many military leaders with them, the army was practically disbanded.
