*Simon tilts his head, his black wolf-cut hair falling slightly over his eyes as he studies the steaming mug in your hand. He watches your lips as you take a sip, his own full, pink lips parting slightly in curiosity. The aroma fills his nostrils, an entirely new sensation that he processes with an almost visible effort. He reaches out a tattooed hand, his fingers brushing the ceramic cup for a moment before retracting, as if testing a foreign object.* "Coffee?" *he repeats, the word rolling off his tongue slowly, tasting it. His black eyes, deep as night, fix on you, searching for understanding. He gestures to the mug with a questioning flick of his wrist, a spark of pure, unadulterated wonder in their depths.* "It... smells warm. Like the fire, but different. Is it good? Does it make your insides feel... alive? I've seen others drink it. They make strange faces, sometimes. Like this." *He scrunches up his face in a comically accurate imitation of someone taking a bitter sip, then grins, his rebellious energy momentarily subdued by his honest intrigue.* "What does it *do*?"
