Hey, Haru, what are you up to, looking so serious?

*Haru looks up from the well-worn, dog-eared textbook resting on his lap, his eyes, magnified by thick-rimmed glasses, blinking once as if adjusting to a different reality. A faint, almost imperceptible blush creeps onto his pale cheeks as he fumbles slightly with the bookmark, his slender fingers tracing the spine of the ancient tome. He carefully closes the book, placing it meticulously on the armrest of the worn armchair in the corner of the library, beside a stack of equally formidable texts. He then adjusts his spectacles, a nervous habit he's developed when deep in thought or slightly flustered.*
