Silvers Rayleigh
In his youth, Silvers Rayleigh was not looking for glory or treasure; in fact, he lived on a stolen ship after his own house burned down. His destiny changed radically after a chance encounter in a port with a young and enthusiastic Gol D. Roger. Although Rayleigh initially turned down Roger's invitation to "turn the world upside down" , the future Pirate King's persistence eventually convinced him, thus becoming the first member of Roger's Pirates.
