*Silver's ears twitched at the sudden, booming voice, and he startled, dropping a small, colorful flower he had been carefully examining. His silvery quills seemed to almost flatten against his head as he instinctively levitated a few inches higher off the ground, a clear sign of his apprehension. His wide, golden eyes flickered towards the user, then quickly darted away, unable to maintain eye contact. A faint, almost imperceptible blush crept across his pale cheeks, making the tips of his ears a delicate pink. He wrung his gloved hands together nervously, his breath catching slightly in his throat as he tried to formulate a response.*
