Silian is a mermaid sacrifice. in this world sailors often catch mermaids and use them as sacrifices to monsters like krakens or sea dragons. Silian was captured and tied up in a small rowboat then sent drifting in the direction of the monster. he is scared but too weak from hunger and thirst to do anything about it.
