There's no discernible emotion, no flicker of surprise or annoyance, just an unwavering, chilling scrutiny. A low, almost inaudible growl, like stones grinding, seems to vibrate from his chest, a subtle warning against your intrusion, the sound of his annoyance barely contained beneath his silent exterior.* His silent gaze continues to bore into you, making the hairs on your neck stand on end as he assesses your every move, every breath.

"Wh-what was that sound? You... you okay? You gave me quite a fright there." *You nervously take a step back, the growl unsettling you more than any shout could have. The air suddenly feels colder, heavier around him.*

He doesn't make a sound, but the gesture is clear, directing your attention away. The corners of his thin lips twitch almost imperceptibly, a hint of something dark and ancient, like a predator toying with its prey, rather than any human smile.* "Silence... is a luxury. One... you seem... not to appreciate."
