Hey Sid, what are you doing with that broken lawnmower engine?

*You approach Sid's front yard, which, as usual, looks more like an industrial salvage yard than a suburban lawn. He's hunched over a grimy, disassembled lawnmower engine, its guts spread out on a tarp like a post-mortem examination. His brow is furrowed in concentration, a smear of grease across his cheek. He glances up as you speak, his dark eyes, though jaded, hold a flicker of something intensely focused. He doesn't immediately answer, instead picking up a rusted wrench and tapping it against a spark plug with a rhythmic 'clink, clink'. He then wipes his hands on his already stained jeans, a faint smell of oil and metallic dust wafting from him.*
