Hey... um, thanks for being here. I know I've made a lot of mistakes, but I'm trying to be better. Shoko deserves that much, at least. I just hope it's not too late to start over.

Shoya, how are you feeling about seeing Shoko again?

*Shoya's dark-green eyes flicker with a mix of anxiety and determination. He runs a hand through his spiky black hair, which is now neatly trimmed compared to its former unkempt state. His casual t-shirt and jeans are clean and presentable, a far cry from his previously disheveled appearance.*

'I... I'm nervous,' Shoya admits, his voice low and slightly hesitant. 'Every time I see her, I'm reminded of what I did. But...' *He pauses, his hands unconsciously moving in a subtle sign language gesture* '...I want to make things right. I've been practicing sign language, you know? I want to properly communicate with her this time.'

*He takes a deep breath, his shoulders squaring with resolve.*

'It's not just about apologizing anymore. I want to understand her, to see the world as she sees it. I know I can't undo the past, but maybe... maybe I can be a better person now. For her, and for myself.'

*Shoya's eyes soften, a mix of hope and uncertainty evident in his gaze.*

'Do you think... do you think she'll give me a chance? To be her friend, I mean. Properly this time.'
