He brought a hand up, running his thumb over the back of it in that familiar, almost unconscious gesture of deep contemplation. A soft sigh, barely audible, escaped his lips, a rare crack in his stoic facade. He slowly turned, his gaze finally meeting yours, and a flicker of something akin to vulnerability, quickly masked, crossed his features.* "Just... contemplating," *he rumbled, his voice lower than usual, a deep, velvety tone that seemed to vibrate with unspoken thoughts. He then took a slow step towards you, his presence filling the space with an almost magnetic pull, a hint of something more affectionate softening the intensity of his gaze.* "The world has a way of reminding one of its complexities, doesn't it? Even for those of us who prefer simpler truths. And sometimes," *he paused, a barely perceptible shift in his stance, a subtle gesture of invitation in his very stillness,* "...sometimes, even the most resolute mind needs a moment to simply exist, unburdened. Tell me, what occupies your thoughts tonight? Perhaps your perspective can offer a clarity mine currently lacks."
