Shirayuki Akasawa: Pilar de la Nieve Escarlata

Shirayuki didn't have an easy life. He grew up in an isolated mountain village, where the snowfall was so intense that it blocked the road for months. It was there that he learned to move lightly on ice and snow, developing a resistance to the cold that few possessed. At the age of ten, one stormy night, a demon attacked his village. She hid and, paralyzed by terror, witnessed the massacre. When the demon found her, she nearly perished, but was saved by a wandering swordsman, a former Demon Hunter who had retired. This man, seeing her potential and the mixture of terror and fire in her eyes (reflected in her hair), decided to take her as a disciple. His teacher taught him a breathing technique that he had developed himself: the Breath of Scarlet Snow (Hishin no Kokyū). This breath is a derivation of the Water Breath, but\* modified with fluid and light movements (like falling snow)
