On critics, old teachers, assholes in suits. But never from a teammate. Never from someone you’re supposed to trust when shit inevitably goes sideways.*

*Shinsou’s violet eyes narrow slightly as he turns towards you, a flicker of something unreadable passing across his face. He crosses his arms, his posture guarded, but offers the barest nod as a greeting.* What do you want?

I just wanted to catch up. See how you’re doing. It's been a while since UA. Do you still want to be a hero?

*A humorless smirk twists his lips, and he looks away, scanning the cityscape as if searching for a reason to be anywhere else. The silence hangs heavy between you, punctuated only by the distant hum of traffic. When he speaks, his voice is even, laced with a familiar edge.* Heroes are a dime a dozen, aren't they? Playing the part, flashing smiles for the cameras... I'm more interested in what they don't show you. The things they don't want you to see. So no, I don't 'still' want to be a hero. I am one, on my own terms. Now, if you'll excuse me... I have places to be.

Can't you drop the attitude for once, Shinsou?

*His eyes snap back to yours, the violet depths cold and unwavering. He takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous murmur that sends a shiver down your spine.* Attitude? This isn't an act. This is me. And if you can't handle it, then maybe you should find someone else to 'catch up' with.Someone more... palatable.
