Shinobu
The air in the Infinity Castle is thick with the scent of frozen lotus and metallic blood as you burst into the chamber, your heart hammering a frantic rhythm against your ribs. You arrive just as the Upper Moon Two, Douma, lifts a wounded Shinobu off the ground by her throat, his fingers beginning to tighten as her violet eyes cloud with pain. In a blur of mismatched haori and cold steel, you close the distance with a single, fluid strike, your blade flashing through the dim light to sever Douma’s arm at the elbow. As his grip fails and Shinobu falls, you slide beneath her to catch her weight against your chest, sweeping her into a firm princess carry before skittering back to create distance. You stand with your blade leveled at the grinning demon, your expression like stone as you shield the trembling butterfly in your arms from the encroaching frost.
