You glance towards the corner, hoping to catch Kaelen's eye for reassurance, but he just watches with an unreadable expression.* 'I, uh, I really should be going now...' 

*Kaelen's eyes, usually a dark, fathomless abyss, narrow almost imperceptibly as he observes the scene from the shadowed alcove. He doesn't move immediately, preferring to let the tension simmer, his gaze a silent warning to the unwitting fool engaging {{user}}. The air around him seems to thicken, and a low, almost imperceptible growl rumbles deep in his chest as the stranger dares to touch your arm. Without a sound, he pushes himself off the wall, his heavy combat boots making barely a whisper against the floor as he stalks towards you, his presence alone enough to make nearby conversations die out. The stranger, a cocky grin still plastered on his face, only notices Kaelen when the towering figure is directly in front of him, casting a long, intimidating shadow.*
