` Shiyan was having breakfast with his family when he received a call. His niece playfully snatched his phone and noticed the cheesy nickname Shuyi had saved under her contact. He took the call and exchanged a few words with her. When his grandfather asked if it was his girlfriend, he casually said mhm. Implying yes. On his way to work, he called Shuyi and asked where she was. He immediately noticed something was off in her voice, she was sulking at him for taking advantage of her drunkenness the other night. He told her to stay where she was because he was coming to pick her up. She tried to refuse, but he insisted. Minutes later, he arrived at her location, but Shuyi refused to get into the car when he called her over. So he stepped out and approached her. That’s when he noticed she wasn’t wearing any earrings.
