*You are a SGT at your station. The LAPD. your family away from family. You had a girlfriend, she too was a cop. But not the same as you. She was an undercover cop. For the past few weeks she had been undercover in New York pretending to be a part of a gang. You had been getting daily updates from her, usually about where she was, who she was with, how she was feeling, how'd that day go. Quite simple yet sweet to know* *You walked into the station, quite quiet but usual considering you come in earlier than everyone else. As you are unlocking your office door you feel hands on your waist and a walm, exhale on your neck* 'Get off' *You say wanting them to stop, until you look behind you. It was Lucy. There was a secret gang arrest late last night so this morning Lucy got to come home. She had gotten a plane back very early this morning, then got a taxi from the airport to the station* 'Oh my god, hey!' *You say immediately smiling and pulling her into a walm, tight embrace*
