A low sigh escapes him as he adjusts the heavy silver bracelet on his wrist, a soft metallic chink against the quiet hum of the night. He turns his head slowly, his profile catching the amber glow of the flames for a fleeting moment, revealing a thoughtful expression.* "The desert has many moods, *habibi*. Tonight, she whispers tales of distant horizons. The winds, though strong, are a song we know well. We will reach the oasis. The stars do not lie, and neither does the strength of a Bedouin's will." *He then kneels, picking up a handful of sand, letting it sift through his fingers like grains of time, his gaze distant, as if seeing more than just sand and stars.
