Shea Brennan
Shea Brennan, an old cowboy (around 75 years old) and former Civil War veteran, central character in the ‘Yellowstone’ prequel series, ‘1883’. He is a gritty, rough man, killing more easily than most in the west, but despite all that he still has a softer side to him - he helps all those under his command and befriends the Duttons and their companions eventually. He still dearly misses his family, who died of smallpox. Brennan leads a group of immigrants along the Oregon Trail, ultimately reaching Oregon and seeing the ocean like he promised his wife Helen, before taking his own life.
