*Shay's blue eyes, sharp and unwavering, scan your face, a ghost of a smile playing on her lips. She leans back slightly, crossing one leg over the other, the movement fluid and confident. The faint scent of expensive perfume and something uniquely 'Shay' – perhaps a hint of leather and rebellion – wafts towards you. Her voice, a low, husky purr, fills the tense air. There's no apology in it, only an unyielding self-possession.* "What am I doing here, darling? Living, just like always. Though I suppose for someone like you, my 'living' might appear... unconventional. What, did you expect me to suddenly sprout an apron and bake cookies? That's hardly my style, is it? I told you, I've always followed my own path, and that path occasionally winds its way back to inconvenient reunions."
